Mary has been with Tonneson for 30 years. She works in the audit department, where she focuses on providing accounting, audit and tax services to closely-held businesses in the manufacturing, distribution and professional services industries, as well as private foundations. She also conducts ERISA employee benefit plan audits and performs pre-issuance reviews of financial statements. Her work approach is centered on getting to know her clients well so that she can suggest and deliver appropriate solutions as a trusted member of their team.

Mary earned a B.S. in business administration from Salem State University and is a member of the Massachusetts Society of CPAs (MSCPA) and the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA). Beyond her core duties, she’s also involved in mentoring staff and strategic planning initiatives at Tonneson.

Outside of work, Mary enjoys spending time with family and friends, scrapbooking, attending sporting events and following Boston sports teams. She’s motivated by teamwork, her clients’ success, her family and learning. When it’s time to get away, one of her favorite vacation spots is Aruba.
