Kathy has been with Tonneson for more than 25 years. She performs attentive and timely assurance and tax services for closely-held businesses in the manufacturing, distribution and professional services industries. Kathy also works with nonprofits and employee benefit plans. She is proactive in informing clients of new or upcoming accounting standards or tax law changes. She also enjoys helping clients see a clear picture of an entity’s financial health, which helps enable management to make informed business decisions.

Kathy specializes in quality control and oversees the firm’s peer review and internal inspections. She also trains the firm’s staff on understanding and implementing new audit and accounting pronouncements, as well as updates to quality control processes.

Kathy is a CPA who earned a bachelor’s degree from St. Anselm College. She holds memberships in the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and the Massachusetts Society of CPAs (MSCPA).

Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, walking, hiking, getting outdoors or going out for ice cream. When it’s time to get away, two of her favorite places to visit are North Conway, NH and Cape Cod.
