Heidi has been with Tonneson for 30 of her 37 years of professional experience. She focuses on consulting for small business owners and their companies, nonprofits and high net worth individuals. Heidi also specializes in family office planning, trust planning and compliance. She builds strong relationships with her clients, ensuring that they can rely on her availability and experience. Heidi also enjoys training and mentoring staff. She is motivated by respect, honesty and trust, new adventures and ideas, and the opportunity to help someone build and grow a business or nonprofit that will enhance people’s lives.
Heidi is a CPA, a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), a Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) and a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA). She earned a B.S. in business administration from the University of Southern Maine, and both a M.S. in accounting and M.S. in Taxation from Bentley University. She is a member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), the New Hampshire Society of Certified Public Accountants (NHSCPA) and the Massachusetts Society of CPAs (MSCPA).
Heidi is on the board of directors and serves as treasurer of Conservation for Poverty Alleviation (CPALI). She is on the finance committee of ROCA and is a grantor of scholarship awards with the New Hampshire chapters of Future Farmers of America (FFA).
Heidi lives in New Hampshire and has three lovely Belgian Tervurans. Outside of the office, she enjoys kayaking, reading, exploring New England for hidden gems, cooking for friends and family and world travel. Her favorite places to vacation are Maine and all of Europe.
