Congratulations to Roxanne Emond, CPA, MST, MSA who has been named Vice Chair of the Executive Committee of The Suffolk University Accounting Department Advisory Board. In her role as Vice Chair, she will be responsible for:

• Advising the Accounting Chair and the Directors of the MSA and MST programs on matters related to the University’s relations with industry and government, both domestic and international.
• Serving as an advocate in the community for the advancement of the Sawyer Business School’s Accounting Department.
• Reviewing and advising on the relevance of new curricula, ongoing research projects, current developments and trends in the profession, marketing, and fundraising in order to help the Accounting department achieve its mission.

The mission of the Suffolk University Sawyer Business School’s Accounting Department is to provide a quality accounting and tax education in contemporary subject matters, to prepare students to face challenges of a global business environment, and to appreciate the value of ethical behavior and reputation.
