We know what you’re thinking, what does a marketing team at an accounting firm do? In this marketing team, we embrace unconventional ideas and are looking for a talented and motivated intern to join us this summer. The ideal candidate is a creative college student with a passion for marketing and a desire to gain hands-on experience in the field. The Marketing Intern will work closely with the marketing department to support a diverse range of initiatives, including social media management, content creation, market research, and event coordination, while learning how those skills are applied in the financial services industry.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and execution of social media campaigns across various platforms, including YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram
- Collaborate on engaging and relevant content for social media posts
- Conduct market research to identify needs, industry trends, and competitor strategies
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop marketing materials such as presentations, brochures, and email newsletters
- Gain proficiency in utilizing the HubSpot CRM platform
- Become fluent in marketing metrics such as website traffic, social media engagement, and email open rates to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns
- Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks
- Assisting with the planning and hosting of marketing events
- Perform other marketing and communications tasks as needed to support the team and contribute to the company’s overall goals
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or Business
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of Canva is a plus
- Experience with social media platforms: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Must have a strong work ethic
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a hybrid environment
Duration:
This is a part-time (Monday-Thursday), paid internship that will last from June – August.
