Audit Associate

Audit Associates will work on audits, reviews, compilations, and accounting procedures within a variety of industries and companies and be directly involved in the tax return preparation for these companies. You will have the opportunity to work with staff at all levels of the firm, from interns to shareholders, as you gain exposure to all aspects of conducting audits for clients. We are looking for candidates who are entrepreneurial, smart, and highly energized, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities include:

• Work closely with clients to understand their business and industry, company structure, accounting procedures, and business goals
• Collaborate on engagement teams, learning all aspects of conducting audit, review or compilation engagement
•  Assist with preparing financial statements and reports for clients
• Learn how to perform tests of internal control systems and assess risks
• Identify and communicate any accounting or reporting issues to managers and shareholders
• Prepare entity tax returns
• Organize and prioritize your workflow to ensure that project and client deadlines are met
• Show a willingness to learn new technologies and processes

Qualifications include

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting
• Plans to pursue the successful completion of the CPA exam
• Strong teamwork, communication, and analytical skills
• Ability to travel to client locations as required
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Relevant work experience through internships or summer jobs is a plus
• Experience with ProSystem Fx products is a plus
