• Areas of Emphasis: I have over 13 years of experience in public accounting. The majority of clients I service are high net worth individuals and small to medium closely held businesses. I support my clients in all aspects of their financial needs including, but not limited to, tax and estate planning, divorce, human resources, IRS and state agency audits and bookkeeping.
• Why Public Accounting: I was interested in a career in the services industry. I enjoy working with all types of people and learning about their lives.
• Tonneson Experience: Tonneson + Company provides a supportive working environment conducive to learning and growth. The firm employs extremely smart people who are willing to share their expertise. I continue to feel appreciated by those I work with as well as my clients.
• Above and Beyond: My clients are not just clients. They often become friends and I would not hesitate to go out of my way for any one of them. If it means delivering a tax return after hours or taking a phone call any time to help someone through a situation that makes them uncomfortable, I am more than willing to make myself available. Sometimes, just listening and understanding a situation is all people need. My clients appreciate my time and respect my opinions. I find this part of my job the most rewarding.
• Outside of work: I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. My children keep me very busy. I also enjoy participating in fundraising events and volunteering my time to benefit organizations that raise money to help people battling cancer and finding a cure! (American Cancers Society, Leukemia Lymphoma Society, Avon Breast Cancer Foundation.)
