• Areas of Emphasis: Over 35 years of Accounting, Tax and Advisory Services to closely held and family owned businesses. Areas of specializations include manufacturing, distribution and service organizations such as engineering, architecture, law, insurance, HR recruitment, research and development and restaurants. In addition, areas of concentration include mergers and acquisition, perpetuation planning, estate planning, corporate finance, personal financial planning, litigation support and situations that surround family owned businesses.
• Why Public Accounting: Over 35 years ago, with a strong interest in finance and accounting, Tonneson was a newly formed company that focused on family owned and entrepreneurial business which was of particular interest to me as a career.
• Tonneson Experience: Tonneson's corporate culture is one that provides an atmosphere for people to grow both personally and professionally in a guided and encouraging environment.
• Above and Beyond: I see Tonneson not as a regional firm, but a global company. We assist in transactions in places such as Europe, Asia, India and as far away as Pakistan and Afghanistan.
• Outside of work: I especially enjoy spending time with my family, golfing and skiing. In addition, I set aside time throughout the year to donate my time and energy to various charitable causes.
