• Areas of Emphasis: Over 12 years of experience in public accounting, providing audit, accounting, tax and advisory services to manufacturers, distributors, contractors and non-profits. Previous experience includes working for a manufacturing company, performing all functions of the manufacturing process from receiving to shipping.
• Why Public Accounting: I truly enjoy the client contact and the fact that every day can, and usually does, bring a new and interesting challenge. I like to pride myself on being able to discuss and explain issues with a client in a manner in which it is easily understood.
• Tonneson Experience: I think everyone at Tonneson approaches each and every job as a team effort. Whether or not we are actively involved in the client, we are all joined in the effort to service each and every client. In addition, the effort made by the Firm to balance work and life is key to our ability to retain our staff, which in turn provides our clients continuity on most engagements.
• Above and Beyond: I have been involved with late night phone calls; working through the weekends on short notice; working through the night; to working over the holidays. If the need arises, we all realize that we need to service our clients above and beyond what is normally expected.
• Outside of work: Spending quality time with my wife and two daughters. Other interests include golfing, fishing, kayaking, waterskiing, snow skiing, softball. I am an avid fan of all local sport teams. Board member and Webmaster for the Mousam Lake Region Association (Shapleigh/Acton, ME) ; Town Meeting Member in the Town of Reading, MA.
