• Areas of Emphasis: Over 18 years of experience in public accounting, primarily in the areas of servicing client needs in audit, accounting and general business consulting. Clientele consists of various types of manufacturers, distributors and service industries.
• Why Public Accounting: Seeing my clients achieve successes whether they be long-term goals or a solution to a minor issue and knowing that I was able to help, gives me great satisfaction.
• Tonneson Experience: Tonneson + Company is a great place to work because of its people and that it provides a great atmosphere for personal growth. There has always been a “Teamwork approach” to servicing clients that provides clients the best possible service. Each member of the Tonneson team is provided the support and the opportunity to excel and reach their own personal goals.
• Above and Beyond: Many times when working on a significant transaction such as a merger, deadlines are always “yesterday”. I have worked on several of these over the years and have found myself working long hours, through weekends as well as through nights normally at the expense of one’s personal life. I have awakened at all times throughout the night and early morning hours for conference calls either from the Far East or Europe. The successful completion of the transaction is always a relief, but it also brings satisfaction that I was a facilitator in getting it completed for my client.
• Outside of work: I enjoy spending time with my wife and children especially our annual summer vacation to Martha’s Vineyard. Coaching my children’s sports teams and watching all of the kids mature and improve their skills is personally fulfilling.
