• Areas of Emphasis: 10 plus years of public accounting, specializing in audits of closely held corporations and not for profit organizations, focusing on beverage distributors, restaurants and environmental and conservation organizations.
• Why Public Accounting: It offers a person the chance to be exposed to a variety of people and their companies or organizations and develop skills that translate beyond just the job, but into everything you do in life.
• Tonneson Experience: Tonneson has created an environment in which employees are encouraged to strive for professional growth and given every opportunity to grow within the firm all while learning from people with an incredible base of knowledge in their respective areas of expertise. At the same time, the firm works to ensure that all employees have a balance between their professional and personal lives and incorporates many extracurricular activities to promote a “family-like” environment at the firm.
• Outside of work: Spending time with my wife and daughters, especially summers up in York Beach, ME; an avid runner I compete in various road races throughout the seacoast of Maine and New Hampshire; exploring the world of wine.
